Airport Surplus Equipment Program

With the cooperation of the Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver International Airport, and the Colorado Aeronautical Board, the Colorado Aeronautics Division coordinates surplus equipment sales reserved for Colorado public-use airports. Equipment obtained at these sales goes to Colorado airports that may not ordinarily be able to afford equipment such as snow plow, mowers, loaders, service vehicles, and much more.

*The Colorado Airport Surplus Equipment Program is reserved to Colorado public-use airport owners and sponsors. Purchased equipment must be exclusively on the airport.

"The surplus program has been very effective in converting unused equipment into useful equipment for airports across the State."

James P. Elwood, A.A.E., airport manager

"This program has allowed our facility to acquire the critical equipment necessary to maintain the airport within our budget"

Michael A. Reisman, A.A.E., Airport Manager
